The Future Economics Learning Transfer and Research Institute (FELTRI) was founded in 2022. The organisation’s mission is to break barriers to knowledge and wisdom by conducting rigorous social research and facilitating learning transfer across Africa and globally. We believe that sustainable development begins with evidence-based insights and community-centred approaches that respect and honour local knowledge systems
FELTRI embodies the spirit of Vhuthu, a philosophy rooted in African values of community, wisdom, and collective well-being. We conduct social research in South Africa, across the African continent, and globally with the aim of advancing social upliftment among humanity. Our work bridges the gap between research and practice, ensuring that knowledge generated translates into meaningful action and sustainable change.
As a private research and learning transfer institute, we serve a diverse clientele ranging from individuals to private & public sector organisations, international bodies, and civil society organisations.
